UNC Bolts

UNC bolts follow the Unified National Coarse (UNC) thread standard.

UNC bolts have a coarse thread pitch. The thread pitch is the distance between adjacent thread crests and is expressed as the number of threads per inch (TPI). For example, a 1/4-inch UNC bolt with a 20 TPI has 20 threads per inch.  UNC bolts have a thread angle of 60 degrees. This means that the sides of the bolt's thread form a 60-degree angle relative to the bolt's axis.

UNC bolts are commonly used in various applications, including general-purpose fastening, machinery, automotive, construction, and other industrial applications. They are suitable for assembling parts that require a strong and secure fastening connection.

We stock part thread and full thread bolts (often referred to as a setscrew). Finishes include zinc plated, stainless and unplated self colour. They are high tensile bolts Grade S/5.
