BA Socket Screws

BA socket screws (British Association) are a type of fastener that uses a hexagonal recess on the head to drive or tighten the screw using an allen wrench or hex key. They are high tensile and offer high torque and increased durability.

The BA threads are small, precision threads commonly used in applications where a fine pitch is necessary, particularly in instrument making, model engineering and electrical equipment.

BA socket screw types include socket cap screws, socket button screws, countersunk (CSK) socket screws and socket set (grub) screws. Finishes include zinc plated, zinc yellow, brass, and unplated self colour.

Size options we stock are 6BA, 4BA, 3BA, 2BA, and 0BA.
